This compendium documents mushroom diversity of the Peruvian Andes with beautiful images, descriptions and GPS location information. It describes 271 different mushrooms and other macrofungi of the Order Agaricales found in the Families Agaricaceae to Lyophyllaceae. The book is the product of ten years of traveling, collecting, analysing and documenting the findings of the first collection of macrofungi in mountainous regions from Puno in the South of Peru bordering Bolivia to Tumbes in the North bordering Ecuador. This English version is Part 1 of a three-part series that documents a total of 750 individual fungi found and provides initial identifications.
